Job Description

  • The Egyptian Grower's Organization (EGO) Office Manager is a key member of the EGO Admin Team and provides essential and significant support to the EGO Management Team.
  • The EGO Office Manager reports to the EGO CEO.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Perform data entry and scan documents
  • Manage calendar for Management Team
  • Assist in resolving administrative issues
  • Answer calls from customers regarding their inquiries
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for Management Team
  • Maintain office supplies for office
  • Oversee Office maintenance and hygiene preservation
  • Oversee office boy (as required) and related supplies
  • Oversee application of EGO Admin policies (per diem travel arrangements, petty cash, etc...

Job Requirements

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years as office admin assistant or office manager assistant
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of planning within an organization
  • Must have minimum 2+ years’ experience
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English

Core Competencies

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision and under pressure, assessing and anticipating the requirements of the EGO Management Team.
  • IT skills to include proficient use of Microsoft office tools including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to judge & maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize incoming material and over time determine what requires attention or can be deferred in the Manager’s absence

Languages

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English languages
