Job Description

  • Scope The parts manager is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction by supplying all customers in after sales channels with the necessary parts at the right time at the right amount. 
  • Responsible for setting parts (and accessories) sales and profit objectives, making periodic reviews, and planning and implementing improvement activities and their results. 

Main duties include the following:

  • Establishing profit targets and action plans
  • Making periodic result reviews and demand forecasts
  • Establishing collaborations and cooperative relations with other departments
  • Making and maintaining a good and safe work environment
  • Implementing the training of employees
  • Establishing and implementing activities to increase fulfillment rate customer
  • satisfaction, profitability of parts/accessories
  • Authorizing and implementing operations within the range assigned by the
  • company
  • Assists in preparing the yearly Spare Parts operating budget and operation plans with the After Sales Director ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategies.
  • Sets the standards and performance measures of his staff in-line with the company’s strategic direction, and cascades it down to the direct reports and monitors their performance, ensuring achievement of their objectives.
  • Prepares the Preferred Suppliers List and submits to the after Sales Director for approval.
  • Negotiates with the identified suppliers for spare parts components main, based on; best available prices, lead-time, payment terms and quality.
  • Prepares the purchasing plans in accordance to the available stock level, focusing on total-delivered-cost to the business. Supervises the buying process ensuring the fulfillment of the requirements with the best quality, price and timely deliver.
  • Prepares and submits a bi- monthly status reports for full purchasing cycle, projecting the incoming, outgoing and pending orders to after sales director to initiate actions as necessary.
  • Manages and monitors the warehouse operations ensuring total compliance to the company storage standards and safety measures
  • Consolidates and reviews the monthly "Inventory Reports" received from Warehouse Supervisors, for his assigned product, outlining the inventory condition such as turnover, obsolescence, parts aging and lost sales and submits to the after sales director for necessary actions.
  • Managing department expenditures
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience 5 years in the same position.
  • Very Good communication skills.
