Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
Monitoring and analyzing the company trail balance.
Prepare monthly financial statements in timely manner.
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
Assist the Controllers in the daily accounting requirements.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions.
Supports budget and forecasting activities.
Applying IFRS standards accurately.
Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
Work with the Controllers to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
Ensuring integrity of financial data.
Ensuring periodic reconciliation of A/P A/R.

Education &Experience

+8 years Accounting experience with minimum 4 years in managerial level.
International pharmaceutical experience is must with minimum 4 years’ Experience
Bachelor degree in finance and accounting from reputable university
CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is preferred
ERP background is must, SAP is preferred
Big four experience is a plus
Fluent Arabic and English
