Job Purpose:
- Eduniverse is looking for an outstanding Full Stack Web Developer to be responsible for the innovative design, coding and layout for websites.
- You will build our websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Design pages layout, graphics and animation.
- Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements.
- Test the website and identify any technical problems.
- Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines.
- Designing the websites visual imagery and ensuring it's in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client.
- Keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML5/CSS3 practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science is preferred
- 1 - 3 years of related experience or training in Development, programming languages or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions alone.
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English
- Have skills in software programming and graphics.
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Experience with HTML5, PHP, Javascript, JQuery, SQL is a must.
- Deep functional knowledge with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is a must
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
- Experience with C/C++, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Python, NodeJS, AngularJS is preferable.
