Job Description
Media Republic is a leading boutique ad agency in Egypt with clients in various sectors including FMCG’s, consumer electronics, real estate, finance, retail, hospitality and IT. We are looking to hire a full-time Videographer & Editor – a self-starter with a passion for film-making - capable of working across all our departments to deliver engaging, high quality video content.
Your Role will include:
- Directing and producing engaging video content for campaigns, in-house projects, and general branding which include: promotional videos, Instagram shorts, in-house videos, behind the scenes etc…
- Full operational knowledge of photo/video equipment and the ability to recommend /source equipment for our in-house productions including lighting, sound, steady-cams etc…
- Editing content with a natural flair to deliver the vision of the agency creative team is essential.
- Creating and editing motion graphics, and creating custom “bumpers”, backgrounds etc… with the design department.
- Collaborating in creative sessions with art directors / creative director to create new content.
- Reporting directly to creative director, and associate creative directors daily and working with them to develop and hone your skills.
- Attending events at different locations around Cairo.
Job Requirements
To be considered for the job we require that you have:
- A deep knowledge of photography/ videography techniques and best practices;
- A stunning portfolio of promo videos.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a videographer in an agency or freelance.
- A proven track record of delivering great creative concepts.
- Having your own equipment is a bonus.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
