Job Description
- Ability to build RTM by Channel/region
- Drive sales team and ensure target achievement by category SKU level
- Contribute to company profitability target achievement through effective control and monitoring of national sales KPIs like Total trade spend , credit days and ensuring profitable product mix by channel
- Ensure that company’s vision is effectively communicated to sales team(s) and distributors (wherever relevant) and translated into long, medium and short term strategies
- Practice and ensure implementation of company leadership & management practices
- Build strong & mutually beneficial relationships with customers/distributors and all business partners
- Coordinate with other departments like finance, technical, legal, supply chain, HR, etc. on issues/initiatives relating to sales
- Provide strategic direction for development of business, category/channel strategies
- Coordinate development of annual, quarterly and monthly sales operational plans
- Provide strategic inputs on preparation and implementation of brand strategies & plans
- Improve skills and competencies for sales team in line with company’s vision through proper training, recruitment, career development and succession planning.
Job Requirements
- Graduate level education - BSc. degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- 7-9 years of sales management experience FMCG.
