Job Description
- Monitor and report progress of analytical tests to the director on a regular basis.
- Coordinate prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet deadlines.
- Record and report test results to the director.
- Ensure final product meets quality and customer specifications.
- Train junior chemists on test procedures.
- Maintain sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies to perform lab experiments.
- Ensure that materials are labeled properly and used in right quantities.
- Investigate issues, analyze root causes and define resolutions.
- Handle laboratory equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Suggest improvements for test procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Develop standard procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Study effects of various methods of processing, preserving, or packaging on composition or properties of the product.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of chemical science or equivalent.
- +4 years of experience (preferable manufacturing ink)
- Good command of English Language.
- Problem solving skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Good communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player.
