Job Description:
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
- Determine and manage the technical infrastructure/ frameworks to deliver robust, secure and reliable web applications and services;
- Embed and manage effective quality control processes for the development of applications
- Advise on and plan for future developments, including preparation of requirements specifications;
- Contribute to the management and direction of Web Services and deputies for the Head of Web Services when necessary.

Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience designing and building large-scale.
- Experience managing a team.
- Proven ability to consistently deliver technology projects on time, on budget with high quality.
- Experience of working with designers and content editors on a project team.
- Excellent knowledge of web standards.
- Good organizational and self-management skills.
Technical Skills
- Proven software development experience in PHP.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable knowledge of development best practices .
- Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn-around times & very team oriented.
- Work fluently with iOS development, with focus on robust design and server-client integration.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.
- Experience working with APIs and Web Services.
- Experience developing complex apps, prior Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) is a plus.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, E bay etc).
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
- Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, eCommerce, WordPress etc.
