Job Description
- Leading the drilling and wells procurement process and supply chain management for the project, to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of wells with the highest standards of safety, environmental protection and in full compliance with all company and international standards, local and international legislation.
- Developing collaborative relationships with suppliers and technical counterparts in other operators to meet project demands within drilling and wells.
- Developing contract strategies for the drilling rig, drilling services, logistics support and aviation requirements for the project.
- Development of tender packages, leading and co-coordinating the entire tender processes.
- Pr-evaluation of qualified suppliers and vendor evaluation.
- Conducting contract negotiations and preparing contractual documentation and awards in accordance with company procedures.
- Management and control of drilling equipment inventory.
- Monitoring and cost control of drilling equipment rentals.
- Operations support during all phases of drilling activity.
- Development of company contracts, procurement and supply chain management procedures & standards.
- Actively participating in all H.S.E initiatives with respect to materials handling and supply chain management.
- Mentoring contracts & procurement and logistics personnel in support of deep water / High-Pressure, High-Temperature well design and operations.
Job Requirements
- Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.
- Minimum twenty years in procurement and supply chain management.
- Minimum ten years in development and management of major drilling and wells contracts.
- Minimum ten years as member of Emergency Response teams providing primary contracts and logistics support capable of dealing with major emergencies.
- Proficient and highly experienced in tendering for drilling rigs and all drilling services.
