Evolvice GmbH is a German software services provider with development hubs in Egypt (Cairo) and Ukraine (Kyiv, Uzhhorod) and well-known companies such as Robert Bosch GmbH, Porsche AG, the WTS tax consulting AG, etc. as customers. We are looking for Senior Linux Administrator with experience in cybersecurity.
Main responsibilities:
- To manage internal linux systems (Linux Servers, Monitoring, Backup, Installation, Security);
- Local site support (infrastructure, heterogenous clients, network);
- Customer facing support (phone, mail, tickets) for our hosted environments: FirstLevel + SecondLevel;
- Cybersecurity related issues.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years practical experience in Linux system administration in a corporate environment (Debian or similar, LAMP, networking, firewall);
- Finished Cybersecurity Training/Certificate and strong interest in cyber security domain;
- Strong network, firewall and security knowhow;
- Knowhow of how to use and apply nftables/iptables, network configuration, shell scripting, cron;
- Knowledge of OWASP, Linux Kali and/or related tool;
- At least Upper-intermediate English (all communication is in English).
As a plus:
Practical experience with minimum 3 out of the following:
- System monitoring (Zabbix or nagios);
- Apache as server and reverse proxy configuration, MySQL;
- SSL certificate management;
- Docker experience, optionally Kubernetes;
- DNS, postfix;
- Experience with any virtualization platform.
