Job Description

  • Responsible to overview the whole factory's operations - people, planning, systems, finances, production, equipment, machinery.
  • Achieve plant operation targets, including business unit output and KPIs, operational cost, quality, safety, hygiene & sanitation, team well-being, maintenance, manpower planning to deliver the required production output and other company goals
  • Your key deliverables will be production output increase, process efficiency metrics across operations as well as total and unit cost reduction
  • Resolve production issues and delays effectively and pragmatically to avoid delays.
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor all production aspects, including Quality Assurance, Procurement, Supply Chain of raw materials, Inventory & Distribution, Finance, HR to ensure coherence and good team work to deliver results.
  • Advance data-driven operations and ensure data across operations is relevant and up-to-date to reflect performance across processes. Communicate results and process quality clearly in reports and real-time dashboards. Define & refine measurable and impactful metrics across all operational aspects
  • Use all levels of data to analyse and improve operations, take decisions, inform our engineering and technology roadmap and communicate at management team.
  • Develop a top-notch operations team - enable the team to run an excellent production system through performance dialogues, actionable feedback and effective team management.
  • Ensure all staff are trained and equipped with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols are complied with.
  • Lead the process on certification & meeting standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.).
  • Complete additional assignments, including performing any task assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • You should have an interest in sustainable food systems & innovation.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bonus if you have experience in the food value chain (food manufacturing, feed, farming especially livestock or aquaculture; biomass).
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or other related discipline
  • MBA or business qualification preferred.
  • You should have a track record of reaching and exceeding operational performance targets, achieve efficiencies, create safe and stable operations, manage budgets and costs and develop high-performance teams.
  • You should have worked with multiple interdisciplinary teams successfully in previous roles and delivered demonstrated results.
  • Candidates must be strong and confident communicators both for technical discussions as well as team leadership
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a preferred
  • While you are technically and analytically strong, you have the 'people-sense' and care about the well-being of all our workers and team members.

    7. Experience with continuous improvement and operational excellence frameworks is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in Food Hygiene standards, HACCP, GMP+ preferred.
