Job Description
- Provides Project / Portfolio Master scheduling and Budget control support to department operations.
- Participating with the project management team to developing annual budget plan and its updates whenever it required .
- Follow up / Tracking/ Reporting Budget’s KPIs and benchmarks & submitting Risk assessments advises regarding Budget area of concern.
- Providing Budgetary slack’s report and advising for reallocating this slack to needed area within the integrated budget model .
- Developing Project/ Portfolio Budget’s base line .
- Design and present budget-models٫ including department-level and enterprise-level ones
- Comparing on Monthly basis the Budget Versus actuals for Projects’ portfolio.
- Analyze department’s financial information (such as cash management٫ expenditures٫ and revenues) making sure that department’s financial operations do not exceed budget limits
- Collect the required data for developing Project & Program & Portfolio Budget .
- Provides budget and administration support and internal controls within the Department and to interface between Finance and the various Departments for the consolidation of the department budget.
- Prepares and administers the tender documents and other related administrative procedures and documents as required.
- Provides cost engineering expertise and develops cost estimation for the projects.
- Responsible for developing various cost estimates levels for various projects.
- Conducting cost analysis, cost control and monitoring of budget.
- Monitors cash flow & applies the necessary modifications if any.
- Coordinates and works with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
- Follows up on daily work basis the Budget status .
- Cooperate with concerned parties to track & comply with Company / department Policies and procedures regarding Budget/ POs / PRs / Purchasing.
- Prepare budget creation/ modification approval form & Project request and update PR ( Projects – Contracts ) log
- Update overall Projects/ Portfolio narrative report in cooperation with Project management team .
- Perform project costing related reporting; such as cost control & cash flow reports (weekly & monthly reports)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Project management .
- Red sea residence are preferrable .
- 4+ years’ experience including hands on experience in large scale projects.
- Previous experience in the same position is preferable.
- Project management knowledge is a must.
- Presentation skills, Analytical skills, Data mining skills, Detailed oriented and critical thinking is a must
- Primavera, AutoCAD and Microsoft package user- ( especially excel )
- Power BI or Tableau or SPSS Knowledge is an advantage .
- ERP knowledge is an advantage .
