Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

• Monitor the overall security posture using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Must have an in-depth understanding of vulnerabilities management systems and common security applications.
• Identify security incident /problems in a timely manner.
• Running penetration tests on all infrastructures and systems.
• Inspecting and testing the security of the network.
• Suggest and implement security solutions for improvement.
• Stay up to date with latest security technology and trends
• Perform regular security audits and provide reports.
• Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. EPP, EDR, etc...).
• Ensure that the technology infrastructure (on premise and cloud) well protected.
• Help in performing research, testing, evaluation, and deployment of security procedures.
• Drafting security training materials and preparing training sessions.
• Working on systems users’ authentication and authorization matrix.
• Should be knowledgeable working on security frameworks, policies, process and procedures.
• Should be knowledgeable about security standers and compliances (ISO 2700x, OWASP, PCI, NIST, etc…)
• Conduct software upgrades and explains performance criteria, documents configurations, and systems specifications.
• Conducts threat and risk analysis and provides essential suggestions.
