Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Overseeing Production Operations:

• Develop production plans to meet market demands and customer needs.

• Ensure efficient implementation of daily and weekly production schedules.

• Monitor the workflow on production lines to achieve targets.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Oversee the application of quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP) during all production stages.

• Review quality reports and implement necessary improvements.

• Ensure that products comply with required health and legal standards.

3. Team Management:

• Lead the production team and allocate tasks and responsibilities.

• Train and develop staff on the latest production techniques and methods.

• Resolve issues encountered by workers to ensure continuous production.

4. Improving Efficiency and Productivity:

• Enhance the performance of production lines and minimize waste.

• Develop processes to save time and resources.

• Provide regular reports to senior management on performance and productivity.

5. Coordination with Other Departments:

• Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure proper functioning of machines and equipment.

• Communicate with the procurement department to ensure the availability of raw materials.

• Work with the quality department to implement best practices.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure the implementation of safety procedures within the factory.

• Periodically review and update emergency plans.

7. Cost and Inventory Management:

• Monitor production costs and work on reducing them without compromising quality.

• Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure constant availability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food production industry, with prior managerial experience.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Good knowledge of quality standards and food safety.

• Proficiency in production management software and reporting tools.
