Job Description

This is level are responsible for providing data on company products and performance against those of competitors so that the company is aware of market trends and can offer products that are competitive in the market for more than one product line. Some jobs assist in the preparation and monitoring the functional department procedures and budget.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in the development and monitors the implementation of functional procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
  • Supervises the activities and work of subordinates (ex. monthly plans for medical representatives) to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
  • Coaches and motivates the sales team of more than one product line in order to ensure that they perform and provide a consistent service to customers and meeting their sales targets.
  • Communicates with the internal marketing team on a regular basis to arrange for product knowledge training and other activities pertaining to the execution of the marketing plan to meet annual sales targets for more than one product line. 
  • Provides data on company products and performance against those of competitors so that the company is aware of market trends and can offer products/services that are competitive in the market for more than one product line.
  • Assists the Sales Manager in the preparation of the department budget and ensuring that the activities within this unit are implemented processed as per the assigned budget. 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BSc. in Pharmacy or Equivalent

Experience:

  • 8 - 11 years of related experience
