Job Description

An experienced Senior Manager Compensation & Total Rewards will advise on the best practice for total reward processes, contributing to the planning, designing and implementation of rewards and benefit programs. Managing and collaborating with internal and external partners on the devising of new and existing total reward schemes and implementing changes where necessary.

  • Designs the basic rewards structure in Majorel (grading system, job evaluation system, job description policy, promotion policy, etc..) aligned with the Majorel culture and the corporate values.
  • Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity.
  • Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
  • Conduct research on employee satisfaction (e.g. using surveys and quantitative data).
  • Renew compensation plans with monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs.
  • Keep track of prevailing pay rates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans.
  • Represent the total rewards team in all compensation matters, such as market midpoint analysis, the structure of local incentive plan designs and the support of the global bonus program process
  • Partner with the HR team and leadership on the review of all reward packages
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs.
  • Represents the organization at different HR conferences.
  • Works with Senior Management to ensure the C&B programs support Majorel’s  business objective & meet legal requirements.
  • Responsible for all HR operations, such as personnel, social insurance, attendance, vacation and all internal procedures.
  • Responsible for all the employees separation policies and procedures

Job Requirements

  • Academic education: BA/MBA in business administration or similar
  • 10 years of HR experience in general, 3-5 years of experience in similar position(s) ideally in the same industry
  • Experience in a large multinational company is helpful
  • Excellent knowledge of English, any other language is a strong asset (German, French)
  • A strong knowledge of Job Evaluation principles and benchmarking methodologies is essential
  • Strong project management, analytical, organizational and excel skills are essential. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required for this role
  • Solid knowledge of local Egyptian social and labor laws
  • Being a team player with “hands-on” mentality and by adopting a proactive approach towards day-to-day handling
  • High sense of responsibility, great commitment, high flexibility, high confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and results driven with a proven ability to work independently
  • Highly organized and proactive, with excellent skills to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to adapt and operate in an international environment
  • High resiliency and very good communication skills
