Job Description
- Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with current financial legislation.
- Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.
- General ledger journal entries and bank account reconciliation.
- Accounts payable invoices and data entry.
- Handling payments in an organized and timely manner.
- Cash payment and Receipt after approval payment.
- Register Collection of checks and bank transactions on company portal.
- Internal credit card reconciliation when required.
- Register sales tax, use tax returns and withholding tax on company portal.
- Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed.
- Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
- Working with account receivable clerk and others to resolve account issues when necessary.
- Expense report handling and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience 7-9 years in Management, Accounting, or related field may be preferred.
- Fluent in English Language is required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
- Exceptional math skills.
- Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
