Your primary responsibility will be to support and mentor your team, ensuring their growth as engineers while delivering value to the business. With your technical leadership and software development expertise, you will guide and challenge your team to achieve excellence in execution.

What you'll do 

• Work with and mentor your engineering team in a collaborative, lead-by-example fashion, encouraging career and personal growth
• Ensure your team meets timelines and launch dates through an effective planning process
• Drive the planning process to ensure your team meets timelines and launch dates for high-quality, high-velocity feature delivery.
• Actively participate in all phases of development, from design to post-deployment issue resolution, while maintaining a balance between maximizing business impact and minimizing technical debt.
• Work closely with senior leaders across tech, product, and design to develop a software roadmap for future features.
• Facilitate collaboration with other engineering teams, product managers, data scientists, user researchers, and designers to solve interesting and challenging problems across Sylndr.
• Take accountability for technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution.
• Provide guidance and support for engineering technology architecture in product development.
• Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and promote stellar engineering and organizational practices.
• Foster the technical expertise of your team in areas such as quality, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance using state-of-the-art tools.
• Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to hire and onboard engineers.
