Job Description
- Responsible for order management.
- Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.
- Record & update the system with the customer sales orders & vendors purchase orders.
- Place the orders to the suppliers and follow up with them to prepare the needed shipping documents and deliver the orders on time.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the documents i.e.: Invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, Bill of lading received from the factory.
- Tracking products to make sure they arrive at their destination on time.
- Freight forwarder arrangements and Customs documents preparation.
- Coordinate transport of Shipment from Origin to Destination when required.
- Liaising with forwarders and overseas companies to arrange collections.
- Negotiating rates with the forwarders to reduce transportation cost.
- Arranging Product declarations with Egypt Customs via forwarder.
- Letter of credit (L/C) handling, checking all L/C terms and conditions, comments to customers, preparing documentations for bank.
- Prepare order management reports, sales forecast, inventory reconciliation & other relevant reports.
- Archiving of Order Management documents.
Job Requirements
- Solid knowledge on the ACID process
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Logistics /supply chain (English section is preferred).
- 2-6 years of experience in Logistics & Order management, very good knowledge of importation process and customs clearance regulations is crucial.
- Very Good English Language.
- Very Good computer Skills and Microsoft Office:
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- Interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
- Attention to Details.
- Deadline-Oriented.
