Job Description
The company is aiming to build a world class mold workshop in its new facility by 2022.
The Mold workshop manager objective is :
- Maintain and establish database for the current 90+ injection molds that the company operate.
- Establish the new mold workshop in the new facility by working with the team to buy the right equipment.
- Cooperate with R&D team to prepare the new molds designs.
- Risk analysis of whole shutdowns expected related to molds problems.
- Prepare and implement the molds total preventive maintenance plans to ensure the smooth flow production.
- Responsible for Providing and manufacturing critical mold spare parts.
- Lead mold design reviews and prepare manufacturing strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering.
- Master degree in Mechanical design is a plus.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Mold making – specially from an industry which require precise molding.
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents. Requires understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning.
- Knowledge of Wire EDM and/or CNC machining technologies.
- Knowledge of common engineering plastics used for injection molding .
- CAD/CAM expert and Very Proficient 3D Solid Works mold design package or others ( CATIA, NX … etc.).
- Knowledge of tool steels and their applications.
- Competencies: Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, project management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with service orientation
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and inclusion abilities as well as sensitivity to diverse cultures
- Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal coaching
- Must be decisive in ambiguous environment
- Fluent Business English.
