Job Description
We are searching for a decisive and insightful DevOps Engineer to join our reputable company. Your role will be to support the E2E Service, Infrastructure, application and network solutions design and implementation within the IT Operations environments. Governance over the quality of deliverables of the technical implementations, configurations and data modelling for the Service Management solutions done by the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as level two of technical support (L2) on an on-call basis.
- Responsible of delivery of High level and Low level designs and documents for the proposed monitoring solution for different business services.
- Good understanding of database (SQL) & NoSQL.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting skills to resolve different issues.
- System integration and implementation of DevOps Tools.
- Service management.
- Prioritizing and managing several open cases at one time based on agreed Service Levels.
- System integration and implementation of Kubernetes & Docker
- Full responsibility of migration and upgrading to new releases
- Ensure that all incidents are solved within the agreed SLA
- Update the technical documentation and the team knowledge base
- Maintaining the availability of the applications and their hosted servers
- Troubleshooting and fixing database related issues.
- Performing all possible technical troubleshooting steps to solve the incidents and service requests
- Utilizing the existing team applications and tools to solve the incidents
- Consulting with Vendor as appropriate
Job Requirements
- B.S Computer of Telecommunications Engineering or B.S Computer Science Required.
- 3 Years + Experienced in solutions design, and Business services modelling, and data quality control
- Technical knowledge of AWS is a must
- Jira, Confluence and Github
- Technical knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, Object Oriented Programming languages and Test Driven Development.
- Technical knowledge of SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, IPv4, IPv6 and similar network management related protocols.
- Technical knowledge of XML, JDBC/ODBC, SQL, Java, JavaScript, shell, and similar network management related languages.
- UNIX/Linux administration
- Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure technologies (DNS, Proxy) and connectivity techniques
- Software or Web development skills are plus.
- Remedy background is a plus
