Job Description
- Create and strategically adjust departments activities, policies and practices to meet and/or exceed key performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals
- Analyze anticipated growth against capacities to maintain and ensure proper storage, receiving, and shipping capabilities for present and future business
- Ensure contingency policies, systems and practices are in place to prevent and eliminate business disruption
- Champion efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assist with implementation of changes within areas of responsibility
- Develop and administer programs to determine the most advantageous and economical methods of shipment for company products
- Manage carrier relationships and contract negotiation and monitor volume commitment per contract
- Responsible for the integrity of the company’s inventory
- Implement cost reduction strategies in all aspects of the organization's supply chain transactions and activities
- Promote “ownership culture” among staff to strive for an efficient and effective operation
- Keeps employees informed as to company/department plans and progress
- Maintain compliance for all regulatory requirements across the supply chain
- Optimize inventory levels and drive the investment and implementation of new systems across all aspects of the supply chain to ensure maximum efficiency
- Lead, coach and develop supply chain teams and drive personal development
Job Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Director for minimum 5 years
- Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
