Job Description
- Create highly detailed character models optimized for Unreal Engine.
- Ability to produce work in any required style from high realism to stylized.
- Extreme attention to modeling detail and accuracy.
- Create art material for pitches and prototypes.
- Collaborate across multiple internal disciplines including level/systems designer, lighting/shading and developers to breathe life into characters.
- Strong proficiency in rigging and weighting, UV Mapping and planning texture layouts.
- Translate concept art and design ideas into 3D.
- Experience with UV’s, Skinning, and Rigging.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated portfolio as a 3d Character Artist.
- Expert knowledge of zbrush, photoshop and one of the following (3DS Max, Blender, Maya, etc).
- Advanced understanding of anatomy, form, shape, silhouette, lights and colors.
- Expert understanding of game art pipelines and methodologies.
- A keen understanding of the human form/anatomy and structure/silhouette in respect of modeling.
- Strong artistic and aesthetic skills, principles and POV.
- Knowledge of substance painter and unreal engine 4 is preferred.
- Passion for building fun, intuitive and interactive environments.
- Proficiency in the English language preferred.
- A link to an online portfolio is required.
