Job Description
- The school principal is responsible for the academic performance, administration and public image of their school. Conceptualizes the broad goals of the school and plans accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented.
- Generally oversee all staff and teachers; plan the academic calendar for the year.
- Confer with teachers about curriculum, mission, policies, and goals.
- Create benchmarks for students and teachers and track progress towards those goals.
- Develop programs that improve teacher performance and assist students in understanding class material better.
- Identifies the annual objectives and needs assessment for the instructional and extracurricular.
- Evaluates student progress in the instructional program by means that include the maintaining of up-to-date student data.
Job Requirements
- Managerial and leadership skills to lead a team
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a principal/Head
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience in British schools is a must
- Knowledge of the British System in education in terms of accreditation requirements and needs
- A Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education/Education leadership or management.
- Fluent English
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Masters of education is preferable.
