Job Description
- Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory and maintain equipment in clean and properly functioning state.
- Prepare and distribute lab materials for science teachers.
- Organize, clean, and return lab equipment to storage area.
- Track inventory and notify the Head of Department of science supply needs.
- Assist teachers in lab supervision as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree.
- One to two years of experience working in a lab or as a lab technician for a school.
- Knowledge of chemistry and physics (i.e. how to prepare solutions, how to safely dispose of chemicals, what to do in the event of an emergency, etc.)
- Previous experience in K-12 education is preferred.
