Node JS Developer

Aseel is an online E-commerce platform that provides vendors in the most remote parts of the world the ability to sell their products in the developed world. We are a group of passionate young techies based in the United States, United Kingdom, Vietnam, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Turkey.

Aseel is looking for a Senior NodeJS developer who will be in charge of maintaining our eCommerce website and Mobile Apps. We are currently in process of Migrating to NodeJS from Magento. Your main task will be ensuring that the migration is done with the best practices leading a team of four other developers.

To ensure success as a Node.js developer, you should possess extensive knowledge of Node.Js based services and experience in a similar role. An accomplished Node.js developer will be someone whose expertise results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of data between servers and end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality applications
• Work with the team to architect the next generation of our customer-facing portals.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, stakeholders, and the development team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Be involved in the estimation of work and definition of backlog items
• Write and guide other developers to perform unit and end-to-end testing
• Continuously improve our technology, architecture, and working processes.
• Develop and maintain all server-side network components.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Build RESTful APIs and services using the node.js framework
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database (RDS) and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
