Supply Chain Director

We are hiring for a big organization located in 6th of October city.

• Participates in the strategy planning process to formulate the overall company yearly objectives and takes active role to strategize his own area and annual targets. Sets and approves the yearly objectives and performance measures for his direct reports.
• Supervises the preparation of procurement budget based on the company business plan, in order to ensure the efficiency of the supply chain and the rationalization of financial resources.
• Develops the Supply Chain policies and procedures, monitors their ongoing implementation, and ensures clear communication of any updates to his subordinates.
• Leads the sales & operation planning cycle and works collaboratively with the Sales and Production teams to enhance forecasting accuracy and ensure alignment between demand and fulfillment levels.
• Oversees the material planning process to ensure the accurate calculation of material requirements according to bill of material, inventory turnover levels, sales orders and forecast, production schedule and machine production capacity.
• Verifies the selection of trustworthy suppliers according to the approved policy and supervises the activities of supplier development to ensure timely delivering of items to warehouses.
• Reviews and Approves purchase orders according to the approved authority matrix and oversees local and foreign procurement practices and participates in the tendering committees for strategic bids.
• Liaises with the Financial department to fulfill timely supplier payments while enhancing financial indicators.
• Reviews shipment and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of sales orders.
• Ensures compliance with HSE policies and procedures within the warehouse and reviews periodic inventory reports. Provides recommendations to increase inventory efficiency.
• Presents periodic achievement reports based on KPIs and statistics to support the planning and decision-making process, and provides recommendations to improve performance.
• Conducts performance appraisal sessions for his direct report in due time. Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners for their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process.
