Job Description
- Direct and monitor Tendering Department staff.
- Manage, coordinate and reinforce department activities to maximize business development and increase efficiency.
- Manage pre-qualification activities of contractors.
- Manage the Tender evaluation process and recommendation for award.
- Guide and direct the tender action procedures including the preparation of Tender evaluation reports.
- Control the quality of all Tendering Department works.
- Manage negotiation meetings in collaboration with Contracts Department.
- Manage the preparation of procurement strategies for ECG clients.
- Manages the preparation of preliminary construction schedules.
Job Requirements
- 10 -15 years of experience, par of which in Tendering Management.
- Knowledge of contract administration and FIDIC.
- Knowledge of the principles of project coordination/management, organization and administration.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- Negotiation skills.
- Analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Skills in planning, coordinating, directing, and reviewing the work of subordinates.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with divisions/departments, other managers, subordinates, and clients.
- Presentation skills.
- Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Presentable and eloquent.
