Job Description
The main objective will be developing the project BOQ for Architecture and Structure works at all project phases: conceptual, design development, and final design.
- Develop the project bill of quantities in the required format.
- Develop “Method of Measurements” for the project items.
- Develop item description for all project components including all related works in accordance to design drawings, Method of Measurements and specifications.
- Provide quantities for all BOQ items based on design drawings.
- Update the BOQ throughout the tendering process to reflect any modifications in response to contractor's queries, and issue BOQ for construction purposes.
- Develop a preliminary checklist for cost estimate purposes.
- Revise BOQ in terms of consistency with drawings, Method of Measurement, and specifications, in addition for checking quantities for reliability.
Job Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of methods and procedures related to projects/construction BOQ.
- Familiar with design programs (CAD & Revit), and Microsoft office.
- Ability to develop and review reports using different analytical techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
