Position Summary
- To analyze business performance and interact with business unit / function heads
- To extend data support for new initiatives through accurate and timely appraisals in a holistic manner
- To evaluate objectively what if scenarios and support the marketing teams to keep abreast of the market /business developments.
Job Description
- Hard core analysis, fact verification of the finance reports obtained from various departments such as, sales, marketing, purchase, production, communication, etc.
- Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports, using computer
- Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions
- Coordinating with the higher management officials of their own as well as other departments, in order to report the progress and variations
- Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of healthcare, business, finance, and economic theory
- Monitor fundamental economic, sectoral, and corporate developments through the analysis of information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews
- Develop and assess regularly competitor / peer performance in order to determine and design winning strategy
- Interpret data relating to new projects / investment programs, such as payback, yield, stability, future trends, risks, and economic influences
- Conduct post completion audit for implemented initiatives / projects and report on deviations
Job Requirements
Qualifications& Skill set:
- Qualified Accountant / MBA with commerce background having 3-5 years of experience in a structured work environment
- Ability to think deeply and quantitatively about business problems, breaking down problems and presenting solutions while evaluating the pros and cons of each option
- Exposure to a multi company, multi division environment
- Ability to ensure work quality and accuracy
- Very good attention to detail, analytical skills and logical reasoning
- Working Experience in SAP / ERP environment will be an advantage
- Very good written & spoken communication skills in English and Arabic
- Willing to work extended hours and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent command over MS Office Suite
