Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Receives the purchase request from the Planning department to ensure that it’s compliance with the company policy.
  • Searches for approved local suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service,etc.
  • Negotiates with the approved international suppliers to achieve best material price offer and best service.
  • Analyzes price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices and Prepares price comparisons.
  • Prepare freight quotation comparison to reach the most cost effective offer and way of shipment.
  • Issues purchasing orders (PO) as requested ensuring delivery of the required quantities in full on time.
  • Communicates and provides the shipping documents to the Clearance department on time without any mistakes.
  • Manage clearance agents to deliver goods in a timely manner after coordination with the finance & warehouse team.
  • Receives the required materials and follow the inspection in order to ensure payment on time to the supplier.
  • Prepares supplier evaluation sheet to evaluate the supplier performance.
  • Maintains the file system and the internal documentation path to reach the perfect path. Interviews vendors and evaluates their products and capabilities as a supplier.
  • Evaluates research findings and makes independent decisions on procurement matters.
  • Responsible for the releasing process related to raw materials samples with the minister of health.
  • Create and update the SOP related to any process in the department. Contribute in the internal audit as an auditor. Contribute in the Process mapping Project.
