Job Description
- Prepare Arabic and English, technical and financial proposals.
- Fully read the RFP sections; scope of works, terms of reference (TOR), contract agreement, special conditions, administrative document requirements, and all subsequently issued addenda
- Structure the table of contents (TOC) of the proposal, conforming with the requirements of the RFP, to determine the required input from other departments/associating firms
- Request/coordinate/follow-up the required input of other concerned technical departments/associating firms according to the project’s scope; covering a wide range of engineering disciplines; Pre-Contract (Design, studies, etc.) and Post-Contract (Management, supervision, etc.) services
- Raise any comments/queries on the TOR to the client
- Review and proofread all material received from involved departments, including but not limited to: Project Comprehension, Scope of Works, Methodology, Project Team Organization, CVs, Time Schedule; to assure their conformity with the project scope and requirements stipulated by the RFP
- Conduct the development/quality of all proposal text, graphics and other supporting documents
- Prepare the financial proposal (staff costs and other direct costs) based on estimated Man-Months input by each department
- Calculate/order/follow-up bid bonds when required, and extend their validity upon extensions of time
- Direct the production, printing and compilation/packaging of hard/soft copies of the proposal For proposals reproduced in regional offices outside Egypt: Dispatch the final master proposal material in well-structured emails
- Maintain the quality, policies, liabilities, image and reputation of the firm throughout the process of proposal production, since proposals reflect the organization's standards and commitment to clients
Job Requirements
- Engineering graduate - Mechanical.
- Language Fluency: English, Arabic
- Excellent technical writing / proofreading professional skills in Arabic, English.
- Quality work: furnishing presentable and neat documents
- Very good communication with foreign nationalities in English.
- Curiosity to learn and enlarge technical/managerial terminology and experience
- Computer Proficiency: Long-term excellent knowledge of PC hardware/software installation and concepts
