Job Description

Reports to: Head of Student Development Office

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Reviewing the SU and clubs plans for the semester and coaching them on how to prepare proper plans that fit well with their needs and resources.
  • Providing consultation and training whenever needed to the students.
  • The development and implementation of an efficient system to govern the campus life by developing new and updating already existing policies and finalizing it into one document that acts as a constitution for the campus life.
  • Also, developing handbooks for our community partners and for the students themselves.
  • Developing the organization’s Social Responsibility strategy and identify programs to be implemented internally and externally.
  • Prepare a yearly Student Life and SR action plan for the organization’s SR and continuously update it.
  • Carry out meetings with different department members to develop and implement standard operating procedures for the unit.
  • Carry out meeting with potential and current partners.
  • Responsible for preparing Sustainability reports covering the annual performance at the SR front to be submitted internally and externally, as needed.
  • Stay abreast with the latest SR trends and global initiatives.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, forums and networking events in relation to SR.
  • Recruit members for the unit when needed.
  • Oversee the management of the relationship with non-profit organizations and volunteer initiatives.
  • Develop and prepare the annual plan and budget for the unit.
  • Present the progress of the unit annually to the Head of SDO.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak persuasively.
  • Excellent English and Arabic writing skills.
  • Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good Communication skills and ability to work with wide range in a diverse community.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent command of MS Office.
