Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Product Owner to help define our Mobile Wallet, Payments & Cards, Bank Transfers and Lending propositions on a large-scale Digital transformation programme.

As a Product Owner, you will:

  • Develop the Product Owner decision making framework for product backlog prioritisation for Sprints, launch and roll-out.
  • Develop the detailed product Roadmap and manage implementation of the product.
  • Continuously refine the product backlog; write user stories, acceptance criteria in JIRA.
  • Create the omni-channel product launch strategy.
  • Develop the product KPI and tracking framework.
  • Develop product features in collaboration with the Technical and Enterprise development teams.
  • Work in collaboration with the Lead UX UI to develop the best Customer UX and Journeys.
  • Ensure that adequate number of Jira stories are ready by at least 1 week before start of new Sprint.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Complete understanding of the Product Owner role within an Agile Scrum setting.
  • Deep understanding of digital product management and development, with particular experience in mobile banking or wallet apps to digital technologies within relevant industries.
  • Work experience within Banking, Payments and Card Issuing. Ideally familiar with PCI DSS, 3DS2, PSD2/SCA, tokenisation, Issuing, Acquiring within the eco-system in Egypt.
  • Experience of successfully delivering change to customer journeys through development, delivery and analysis phases.
  • Experience in digital onboarding and authentication or digital identification of customers.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and issues and come up with appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Understanding of customer needs/behaviours and user-centric design.
  • Experience in business process management, service design, process flows.
  • Conversant in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, familiar with Lean principles.
  • Demonstrative ability to effectively balance technical capabilities, consumer & business needs.
  • Understanding of digital tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping; customer lifecycle management; marketing; customer acquisition.
     

Certification (verifiable):

  • Professional Scrum Master or Professional Product Owner
