Job Description
- Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
- Identify investment opportunities and communicate it to the asset managers
- Perform full fundamental and comparable valuation on companies
- Write investment notes and present it to the Investment Committee
- Liaise with asset managers and network with industry professionals
- Assist in the preparation of clients presentations
- Prepare ad hoc reports upon request
Job Requirements
- Highly motivated and self-challenged
- 8-10 years of proven working experience as an analyst in the Egyptian Stock Market
- Worked on different valuation models including qualitative and quantitative methods (like DCF and comparable valuation)
- Strong knowledge of diverse economic sectors and macroeconomics
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
- Ability to succeed in a team environment and work under stress
- Proven presentation and writing skills
- Strong numeric and analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Degree in Finance, Economics or related fields. CFA Charterholder is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English & Arabic
