Job Description
EME IT, Microsoft Golden Partner is looking to hire Software Testing Engineer who should be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of test cases.
The STE will also work closely with Software Developers to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing test cases against our software platforms, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day to day quality activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design test scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Evaluate and tests new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines.
- Design, and author effective test cases.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Document test procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
- Develop automated tests for test cases and integrate automation into test suites
- Adapts to new Testing software that the company might decide to use.
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of testing experience is required.
- Experience with Dynamics CRM is a big plus.
- Experience with reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Ability to work individually or within team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are critical.
- The ability to work as a team player is essential.
- Initiative and has the ability to work with minimal guidance.
