What is the job of the assistant restaurant manager:

He is responsible for coordinating restaurant management operations daily and providing distinctive food and beverage service to gain customer satisfaction, as well as responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints to improve and develop restaurant services and maintain restaurant revenue, profitability, and quality objectives. The job requires automated management skills to work in the front part of the food supply and the back of the private Preparing and equipping.

Job duties of assistant restaurant manager:

  • Coordinate the tasks inside the restaurant in the part dealing with customers and the preparation and processing part.
  • Striving to provide distinguished service that helps to gain customer satisfaction.
  • Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Periodically review and improve product quality.
  • Hiring, developing, and training workers inside the restaurant.
  • Organizing and supervising shifts and arranging vacation dates.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Estimate future needs for commodities, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Ensure that health and safety measures are applied.
  • Providing customers with the best mental image of the restaurant and suggestions that help in continuous improvement.
  • Controlling operational costs and setting appropriate budgets.
  • Submit periodic reports on income and expenditures.
  • Supervising the restaurant's promotions through the use of various promotion channels.
  • Suggest ways to reach a wider audience and offer offers and discounts.
  • Training of new and existing employees to provide the best customer service.
  • Implement policies and procedures that maintain the organization of work within the restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • Maximum age of 32 years.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Good Quality Control experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of F&B.
  • Good Leadership skills
  • Teamwork.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in dealing with restaurant management software.
  • Proficiency in dealing with office programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial management skills in a distinctive way.
