Job Description
Essential duties and main responsibilities:
- The Translator works on the following types of documents: scientific; technical; commercial; literary; legal; educational.
The Translator will be required to achieve a combination of the following duties:
- Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
- Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used
- Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct
- translation
- Liaising with the General Secretariat to discuss any unclear points
- Proofreading and editing final translated versions
- Providing grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document
- Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process;
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines
- Consulting with experts in specialist areas
- Retaining and developing specialist knowledge on specialist areas of translation
Job Requirements
Language Skills
- The Translator needs an excellent command of three languages, namely Arabic, English and French.

Qualifications: Required Education
- Bachelor Degree required
- Master Degree preferred
Work Experience
- 7 to 10 years minimum in similar functions
- Experience in Secretarial Positions and Translation
- Previous position in executive secretariat
- Additionally some knowledge of football.
