Job Description
- Provides editorial advice and assistance to investigators in the writing of scientific/research proposals and manuscripts, and reviews copy for compliance with editorial guidelines.
- Undertakes editorial research of subject matter as appropriate to augment and/or clarify information contained in proposals or manuscripts.
- Assesses training needs with respect to proposal and/or manuscript development, writing, and preparation, and designs and presents training programs and workshops as appropriate.
- Researches, identifies, and interacts with internal and/or external publishers of scientific/technical manuscripts, as appropriate, on behalf of investigators.
- Conceives, develops, and implements creative programs and activities designed to promote and represent the research activities of the unit, as appropriate.
- Represents the department at business and community meetings, as appropriate.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in searching on Internet
- Proficiency in writing and authorship in the field of human development, research and strategic planning
- Preferably experience in the search for research, books and websites special educational consultancy and human development and strategic planning
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs and Computer
