Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the rules of tendering
  • Undertaking a Bid/No Bid exercise to decide whether to make a submission or not
  • Understanding the RFT, deciding timelines and responsibilities
  • Selling your tender and pricing to win
  • Timely management of tender activities
  • Methodologies and executive summaries
  • Own end to end of proposal creation and modification.
  • Proactively engages in the sales cycles
  • Able to help qualifying a RFP and Bid opportunity
  • Assisting sales people in the qualification of customer needs and performing pre demo needs analysis.
  • Responsible for managing and leading the complete proposal effort
  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to suspects and prospects.
  • Generation of product demo and scenarios
  • Managing pilots and prototypes
  • Be able to position our products against the competition
  • Responding in writing to customer requirements
  • Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
  • Developing product centric selling strategies
  • Working with sales people on the execution of specific sales strategies
  • Monitoring and managing the technical pre‐sales environments
  • Meeting customers and delivering product centric presentations
  • Developing draft project plans for implementation consulting along with any key risks and issues and their mitigation
  • Developing Statements of Work for implementation consulting
  • Reports progress and issues to the Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done.
  • Possesses an understanding of sales methodologies and can apply them in a sales situation.
  • Own the bid management for the RFP
  • Travel required – Estimate 50%.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized university.
  • +7 years of related experience of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a similar position or responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry (Managed Services/ e-Government).
  • Proven experience in sales and presales.
  • Experience modeling costs, and developing ROI and TCO analysis.
  • Broad technology background across applications, network, and infrastructure.
  • Excellent relationship building skills across customers, partners, and internal resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Displays a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work.
  • Sets high standards of performance for oneself.
  • Establishes harmonious working relationships with team members.
