Job Description
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Understanding of solid website design principles
- Experience with .NET, Java, WordPress, Drupal. Joomla a plus
- Optimize application and web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML5/CSS3 practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in UI web programming
- 3+ years of UI Web development experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery, AngularJS, SharePoint and API's.
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Portfolio of complex sites you've worked on
- Expert in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, SharePoint, Responsive design.
- Solid understanding of jQuery, or a similar JS framework
- Knowledge of performance considerations, especially with respect to browsers
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, ASPX, JavaScript.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
