Warehouse Team Leader

Main Duties:

• Coordinate with the previous and follower WH team leader the handover process regarding the production plan, equipment status, racking plan, loading plan, domestic shipping plan and glass shifting plan to maximize the utilization of the available resources.
• Allocate the shift crew on different location according to the tasks and activities priority during the shift to achieve the production and shipping plans.
• Supervise the packing activities during the shift regarding manpower planning, coordinate with cutting line the required boxes during the shift, determine the packing material requirements, packing process and inspection of the boxes to provide the required boxes with high quality according to the production plan.
• Supervise the storing activities during the shift regarding the review of the racking plan, manpower plan, the storage materials and tools availability, the glass storage, updating the racking plan in case of no availability of suitable racks for the items to ensure proper storage without loses.
• Supervise the shipping activities regarding the review of the loading plan according to loading capacity, availability of shipping materials and tools, review the shipping order on the SAP and determine the racks that contain the shipped glass, inspection of the containers (before and after shipping) and accurate loading of required items inside the container to match the FIFO standards and the department’s Sops.
• Coordinate with the cutting line area the change the production plan, production loses quality of the glass to receive and store the glass without defects.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department the equipment and shipping door to minimize the downtime.
• Comply with occupational health, safety and Environment regulations, policies and instructions at work place.
