Job Description

  • Tracking and reporting accounting information
  • Ensuring proper payroll and taxing system in place.
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, receipting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
  • Direct developing and maintaining timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standers (IFRS) and Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS). -Drive, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Develop business plans, Assessing budget controls and headcount requirements.
  • Deliver monthly financial reports. (cash Flow , Balance Sheet , P&L)
  • Participate in yearly budget preparation process.
  • Deliver tax reporting and apply tax law and regulations
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including The Egyptian Exchange, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, Properties and Sales Tax.
  • Maintain an internal control system and provide recommendation for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a reputable University
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Ability to communicate and interact well in English & in Arabic.
  • Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
  • Finance strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Deliver tax reporting and apply tax law and regulation
  • Preferably with any of the following certificates: CPA,CMA, MBA
  • Preferred the residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis .
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Ability to effectively direct and supervise.
  • Ability to effectively use a modern automated financial management system.
  • Minimum 4 years in Developing Budgets, Legal Compliance, Tracking Budget Expenses, Accounting, Managing Processes, Reporting Research Results
  • Experience in ERP systems usage / excellent MS Office usage specially Excel are a must
