Job Description
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build large-scale and complex web applications with a modular approach
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability on both Mobile and Desktop
- Debug web applications and contribute to implementation of server-client communication with technologies such as HTTP, AJAX and RESTful JSON services
- Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML/CSS coder, and rest of the frontend team
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in developing Web Frontend Applications.
- Excellent knowledge of modern client side technologies, such as HTML5 + APIs, CSS +
- Preprocessors (SASS, LESS, etc.) and modern JavaScript (ES2015) to create pixel perfect websites.
- Deep knowledge of Angular (1.x/2.x) practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience.
- Proficient in at least these JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, Angular and React.
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, HTTP protocol, database, APIs, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
- Expertise implementing responsive websites, concepts like; mobile first; and progressive enhancement, should be very well grounded in your knowledge.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Use build systems such as Gulp/Grunt.
- Hands-on experience solving cross browser compatibility issues (> IE9).
- Hands-on experience writing JavaScript Unit Tests.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git/Mercurial.
- Usage of Image editing applications such as Photoshop.
- You are eager to learn new things and trying to stay up to date with the latest front end technologies.
- Proactive and a team player that likes to discuss solutions and ideas.
