Job Description

  • Reviewing end users inquiries and technical support requests, as well as advising, recommending and providing professional solutions related to software or hardware systems over the phone, email or in person accordingly.
  • Modifying and installing basic computer software and hardware on employees’ computers, as well as providing required training and technical assistance.
  • Forwarding complex issues and those that require specialized involvement to the designated function’s in order to ensure adequate and timely resolution.
  • Conducting periodic checkups for anti-virus software installed on all computers, in order to ensure that they are updated and functioning properly.
  • Conducting periodic preventive and corrective maintenance to computers, printers, scanners…etc as per the set schedules, policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining database of all incidents for reference purposes, as well as reporting any major incidents in order to take the suitable action in that regard.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in a related field is a must.
