Job Purpose:
You will work in the full spectrum of the stack. You’ll be working on PHP, MySQL, Apache and will need to know your way around a Linux box. You’ll even work on some Python, NoSQL, Message Queuing and other exciting technology. You’ll bring new ideas to the table, champion new processes and technologies, learn new stuff and most importantly – have a great time doing it.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Responsible for design and development of Internet-based applications in open-source environment
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering
- Expert in Python/PHP and SQL
- Strong experience with AJAX, Jquery, JSON
- Experiences with MySQL.
- Strong experience with Open Source technologies and Linux operating system
- Experience in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
- Knowledge on MongoDB, Redis, ZeromMQ are all a plus
- Knowledge on Perl, C++ and Shell scripting are all a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Passion for building scalable systems with great user experiences
- Ability to master new languages and technologies
- Knowledge of coding standards and software design patterns
- Interest in emerging technologies
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with people from different disciplines
