Job Description
- Oversee and keep track of project(s) progress in accordance with the contract.
- Contract & Bank Guarantee negotiation/finalization.
- Provide contract administration and risk mitigation measures.
- Work closely with site teams to monitor post award contractual activities to ensure fulfilment of obligations.
- Reporting to Managing Quantity Surveyor.
- Revises Tender documents in order to fully understand project contractual & technical scope
- Completes Tender Contract Review Form and submits to management
- When necessary by Tender Requirements, Provide Tender Technical Document Requirement List to Management
- Responsible for Contract review, includes all revisions until Contract Award
- Review and analysis the sub-contractors / Suppliers offers which is obtained by T.O, to include of its impacts on the time, and cost of the tender projects.
- If necessary, provides and assists with completion of Technical Forms, ex: Tender Technical Overview Form
- Provides any assistance, responsibilities for Planning & Controls Dept. as appropriate
- If needed, Interfaces with clients, attends preconstruction & construction meetings, and provides Contract reports.
- Prepare and assists to risk assessment within the contract review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in engineering , preferably in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a contract administration role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction contracts and bank guarantee negotiation.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
- Very Good - Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
