Job Description

Job Purpose:
Process stock movement (intake, allocation & transfers) to and between the stores through the system.
Prepare the analysis reports timely for assigned brands.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Process & Tracking
  • Making sure shipment arrive on time to stores
  • Report & follow up any discrepancies in shipments or in stock deliveries
  • Prepare initial allocations in line with brand allocation strategy
  • Create store to store transfers
  • Prepare item list to obtain SALE license
  • Open mindedness & ability to breakdown & prepare data in the proper format for analysis
  • Generate reports (e.g., sales vs. budget, margins, sell through, sales contribution by category)
  • Create content files for ECOM platforms
  • Provide administrative support to replenishment process of merchandize.
  • Assist with monitoring stock and sales records, placing orders and preparing reports.

Dimensions:
 

  • Oversee sales performance on the seasonal launches.
  • Own the responsibility of keeping all data accurate and cleansed.
  • Streamline the flow of merchandise by analyzing sales performance and determining trends and patterns
     

Decision Making Authority:

  • Takes merchandising decisions within the brand guidelines and delegated authorities.
     

Problem Solving:
 

  • Track and analyze in-season brand performance and adjusts weekly forecasts.
  • Ensure all brand partners’ and the company’s trading strategies are in compliance.
  • Compliance and alignment with the Buy Plan.

Communication and Working Relationships:

  • Internal (within the company): Direct communication with brand management & merchandising teams, IT, Finance, Supply Chain Team, Store Operations Team
  • External (outside the company): Brand Partners

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
  • Min. 2 Years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven retail experience working in a similar role.
  • Computer literate and hands-on experience with reporting & tracking systems.

Job Specific Skills:
 

  • Fundamentals of product categories knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS office - Excel
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP system:
  1. Merchandize and Financial Planning (MFP)
  2. Assortment Planning (AP)
  3. Item Planning (IP)
  4. Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF)
  5. Size Profile Optimization (SPO)
  6. Clearance Optimization Engine (COE)
  • Presents information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing
  • Listens actively and objectively without interrupting
