Job Description
- The WordPress / PHP developer will be involved in building/updating an existing e-commerce website and will be part of an active and creative software development team in a fun and relaxed working environment.
- The candidate will be working on a 3-month rolling work-from-home contract.
- Although work is mainly to be done from home, candidates should be based in Alexandria, Egypt and available for regular meetings.
- We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Job Requirements
- Two to five years of custom WordPress theme development experience
- Candidate needs to have strong English communication skills to help gather requirements from clients and collaborate with other team members.
- More than one year of WooCommerce development experience
- Create browser independent, responsive WordPress themes
- Ability to slice PSD designs into operational websites
- Ability to create custom post types
- Deadline-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Experience with creating multilingual websites with WPML
- Knowledge of popular form mailer, SEO, custom field, and other WordPress plugins and trends
- If you know your way around OOP principles, Laravel and Node.js that’s a huge plus.
