Job Description
- Manage various labor agreements/ relations to support contract negotiations with newcomers.
- Provide advice and counseling to deans, professors regarding personnel practices, university policies, employment laws, governmental and medical insurance.
- Follow up all variables concerning employee attendance and penalties to adjust salary payments.
- Administer employment processes, reviews reports, monitor personnel programs.
- Prepare written reports and correspondences, as required by labor unions and insurance offices.
- Follow up and manage various personnel activities as (approvals of insurance forms - approval of settlement of employee’s end of service - approvals of department petty cash and handling external payments with Governmental Sector)
- Follow up all checks of insurance payment and labor office.
- Follow up with professors and deans on probation period reports of newly hired employees whether extension or termination of contract
- Manage payroll process and perform accounting-related tasks.
- Prepare monthly, year-end reports (gross payroll, accrual tax, tax deductions, benefits deductions, etc..) for Management.
Job Requirements
- Sc. Business Administration or similar from reputable university.
- 4– 8 years of experience in the same field, preferable in universities.
- Experience in the principles and practices of personnel, extensive knowledge of employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of using computer software applications, especially MS Office.
- Can work under pressure
- Good negotiator, good command in English
- High communication skills
